In addition, various user and interest groups meet routinely. Information regarding the programs, classes and interest groups is published in the monthly RVGS eNews, as well as on the RVGS web calendar and on social media.\n\nMembership is available to all interested persons for just $40 a year. A second household member can join for an additional $15. Non-members may use the library for a fee of $5.00 per day. Membership privileges include: \n   Free use of library\n   Volunteer opportunities\n   Reduced fees or free genealogy classes\n   Check out of materials\n   Subscription websites\n   Society publications\n   Interest groups\n   Free mentoring\n   Members-only website content\n\nRVGS membership provides a meaningful way to give back to the society and help other researchers. The membership fees help to fund a variety of the Society’s historical record collections and preservation projects. Our members also help to maintain our library, research facilities, and website content."
