Directed by Gints Zilbalodis, Flow is a Latvian animated feature that unfolds without dialogue, following a solitary cat navigating a flooded world after an environmental catastrophe. As the animal joins a fragile interspecies group drifting across submerged landscapes, the film becomes a wordless meditation on survival, cooperation, and adaptation.

Built through immersive camera movement and natural sound design, Flow continues Zilbalodis’ exploration of isolation first seen in Away. The absence of dialogue amplifies its universality, positioning the film within a lineage of environmentally conscious animation that favours mood and movement over exposition.
