Ferrel has also made guest appearances with such diverse groups as the Joffrey Ballet and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. His album "Yankee Dreams" was chosen by the Library of Congress for inclusion on their select list of 25 representative recordings of American folk music. Boston Globe columnist Scott Alarik has called Ferrel "one of the finest living masters of the genre."Harpist Danielle Paus performs regularly with various ensembles throughout Maine including MidCoast Symphony, Androscoggin Chorale, and Colby and Bates Colleges. She has toured both as a solo artist and with the Celtic flute and harp duo Naia, and has been heard on National Public Radio’s “Thistle and Shamrock.” She spent seven years on the applied music faculty at Colby College. Her albums “Siren Song” and “Aurum” feature arrangements of traditional Celtic music.
