- **Event Description**: This annual event takes place on Sagadahoc waters and is open to the public. We look forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces and hope to see a lot of new ones as well.

All fish being entered must be at the Sportsmen's Club no later than 4pm the day of the derby and caught in Sagadahoc waters the day of the derby. Any fish arriving after the 4pm cut off time will not be weighed. Fish categories are Bass, Yellow Perch, White Perch, Trout, Crappy and Pickerel

And though you do not need to purchase a ticket to participate, we do sell raffle tickets which help pay for the derby as well as other youth events throughout the year. There are 3 main prizes, 1st place is $500 cash, 2nd place $250 cash, 3rd place $125 cash. We then continue to draw these tickets for a slew of prizes that have been donated by local businesses.

If you love ice fishing and have extra equipment, think about inviting someone new to join you, help introduce families to the sport. If your child has a friend whose family doesn't fish, but the youth shows interest, invite them. They may enjoy it so much that they one day will do the same for someone else.
