- **Event Description**: The monthly meeting of the Moshannon Creek Watershed Association will be held at the Philipsburg Osceola Middle School at 6:30 pm on Tuesday December 9th. Go around the left side of the school to access the doors we use to enter the building. We will be providing updates on the various projects underway in the watershed. We will also have a program from Tom Clark from environmental contractor Kleinfelder. He will be showing how a thermal drone survey was used to clearly identify the various water sources of importance to the development project for an active treatment plant for the large acid mine drainage sources impacting the Hawk Run area. The picture with this event post shows a high flow in Hawk Run from 2019 that was due to a high discharge rate from the Morrisdale Mines Shaft No. 3.
