A Miniature Painting Workshop with Artefaktual Comics & Games and Twisted Bee!
Calling all crafters, gamers, and curious creators! Artefaktual Comics and Games is thrilled to partner with the wonderful Twisted Bee for a special Miniature Painting Workshop this November. While we're packing up for our big move, we're bringing the fun to Philippi Main Street!
This is your chance to dive into the detailed and rewarding world of miniature painting in a relaxed, friendly environment. No experience whatsoever is required—our experts will guide you every step of the way.

PRICING & WHAT'S INCLUDED:
The workshop is priced per miniature you choose to paint:
Regular Sized Miniature: $7
Choose from a selection of Warhammer characters including: Space Marines, Tyranids, Necrons, and Stormcast Eternals.
Oversized Miniature: $15
Paint an imposing Dire Troll from the world of Dungeons & Dragons!
Your ticket includes EVERYTHING you need:
Your choice of one high-quality, unpainted miniature.
Full access to a professional-grade paint station.
A selection of paints from top hobby brands: Mont Marte, Vallejo, and Citadel.
All necessary brushes, tools, and water cups.
A variety of decorative basing materials (mud, flowers, grass, etc.) to make your piece unique.
Instruction and guidance from seasoned painters.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Absolute Beginners: Been curious about the miniatures you see in game stores? This is the perfect, no-pressure introduction!
Ceramic Painting Regulars: If you love painting at Twisted Bee, this is a fantastic opportunity to try a new, similar craft with a fantasy twist!
Gamers & Hobbyists: Give your tabletop characters a personal touch! Learn the basics to start painting your own army or RPG party.
Cosmic Realms Alumni: If you missed the painting class at Cosmic Realms, or if you attended and loved it, here's your chance to do it again with a whole new set of minis to choose from!
Families & Friends: Looking for a unique and creative activity? This workshop is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. (Recommended for ages 10 and up due to small parts and detailed work).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You'll be walked through the entire process, from priming to the final highlights. Learn essential techniques like base coating, shading, and dry brushing to make your miniature pop with depth and color. You’ll leave not only with a creation you're proud of but also with the foundational skills to continue the hobby at home.
