Through services such as STI testing, health education, harm-reduction support, and resource navigation, Courage Medicine works to reduce barriers to care and promote wellness—particularly for individuals and communities impacted by systemic inequities.The Philadelphia Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) DECIDE Program, hosted in partnership with Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center, is a cohort-based, evidence-informed program designed to strengthen decision-making, problem-solving, and self-management skills among community members. Through trauma-informed, group-based sessions led by trained facilitators, participants receive health education, peer support, and resource navigation that address both individual wellness and broader social needs. This partnership ensures that residents in Southwest Philadelphia have access to culturally responsive support that promotes healing, empowerment, and long-term well-being.
