They've been a technical musician for most of their life but their recent DJing residencies include Great Circles, B.West @ Franky Bradleys, Val's, and The Dolphin Tavern where they mix a variety of sounds from genres that include, disco, pop, house, techno, bass, and much more. Their past residencies include The Barbary, Warehouse on Watts but they DJs for crowds at venues throughout the city and others.OluwafemiOluwafemi is a rhythmist based in Philadelphia, originally from Lagos, Nigeria. He explores how our lives embody and reflect the universal phenomenon of pattern and repetition. For 15 years, his visual and musical work has spanned deejaying, music production, pen illustration, painting, digital still and video art. He produces experiences with various combinations of sights and sounds. His music influences are deeply rooted in the cultures of the African diaspora utilizing jazz, funk, reggae, hip-hop, house and afrobeat, among other similar genres.
