The Return of the Philly Contraption Contest

ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS, PRINCIPALS, AND ALL MEGA-NERDS OUT THERE...

The Philly Contraption Contest returns in 2026 with a special Semiquincentennial edition that challenges middle school students from the Philadelphia region to build the best Rube Goldberg machine that rings a bell in the most complicated way possible.

The competition will go down in the big gym at the Bok Building in South Philadelphia on Saturday, April 11th. Registration is now open and space is limited. Please spread the word to parents, teachers, students, nerds, and the like.
