This multicultural celebration of youth creativity continues to focus on dance and movement by our young people. The event is designed to highlight different ethnic expressions towards cross-cultural awareness and to showcase the strength of various arts programs serving the children and youth in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.The vast array of dance featured will include: breaking, hip hop, salsa, tap, ballet, modern, ethnic folk dances, among others.And who can forget the debut of A Taste of Olney in tandem with the festival last year! We plan on having an equally vibrant representation of foods both savory and sweet from restaurants and caterers from the neighborhood all throughout the day, culminating with a dinner around 4 PM.Lastly, there will also be a resource fair at the event sharing valuable information for the community.Main support for this event is made possible through a generosity of the William Penn Foundation.
