Lou Marescas a lifelong professional musician. His career as a professional musician began in the ‘60’s performing in numerous NJ cover bands, and after seeing the Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East in 1971, he formed Skydog, perhaps their first tribute band. In 2009 he founded LIVE AT THE FILLMORE, acknowledged as the definitive, #1 tribute to the ABB.

In 1980, he launched TekCom Corporation in Philadelphia, which became one of the top U.S. suppliers of professional sound and recording equipment with clients ranging from the Grateful Dead to the Philadelphia Orchestra and CIA. Following that he partnered with Doug Fearn and world-class manufacturer D.W. Fearn, whose recording equipment is found in every major recording studio worldwide. Joe Tarsia, owner of world-famous Sigma Sound with studios in Philadelphia and NYC teamed up with me to form the production company, Holding Patterns, which today manages LIVE AT THE FILLMORE.

LATF has been seen by millions of viewers on AXS TV’s ‘World’s Greatest Tribute Bands’ live from the Whisky A Go Go with host/producer, Katie Daryl. We have performed with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker Band, Outlaws, 38 Special, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and other iconic southern rock acts. Today LIVE AT THE FILLMORE remains The World’s Greatest Tribute to The Allman Brothers Band. “The music doesn’t lie.”
