Arrive at the workshop with a drawing or design in mind (if you have it drawn or printed out, that is best! Must be maximum 9" Width x 7" Height) that will be simple enough to trace and cut out with an exacto knife.We will be screen-printing one design per person with one color [but lots of copies]. All materials will be provided to create a patch but feel free to bring your own fabric or t-shirt to print on. If you are bringing fabric, please make sure it is 100% cotton.All levels are welcome! This is a beginner friendly workshop and you do not need any print-making experience. This workshop is open to folks 16+.Space is limited in our studio- we are able to accommodate 5 attendees. Our address is 523 S 4th St. Philadelphia, PA 19147.There is limited metered street parking on our block and in this area it can be difficult to find parking. We suggest taking public transportation- Bus 40, 57, 12, 47, 42 and 21 are nearby. The Market-Frankford Line 5th St stop is 7 blocks away. The Broad Street Line Lombard-South stop is 10 blocks away.Please arrive on time so that the workshop can begin at 6 PM.We do have a bathroom available to attendees. There are multiple steps to get to the bathroom so, unfortunately, this is not wheelchair accessible. The studio/workshop space is up 4 steps of stairs but we can accommodate and move the tables we will be working at for this workshop to the “first floor”. Please let us know if you would like the workshop to take place in our “first floor” store area. There is a ramp to enter our store but because of how the building was made, there is a sharp turn when entering.
