Bariq Cobbs Art and Merch Holiday Pop-Up

Morton Contemporary is excited to host a special holiday pop-up with local Philadelphia artist and designer Bariq Cobbs. On Saturday, December 20th from 12:00 – 6:00 PM, visitors are invited to explore and collect original paintings, hand-painted home goods, and custom clothing, just in time for the holidays. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Bariq is a longtime trailblazer in the city’s arts and culture community. A University of the Arts alumnus, his distinctive visual language draws from comics, graffiti, and modern art. He is the founder of multiple apparel and design brands, including Tribe Vibe, Funky Roots, and Miskeen Original. His paintings have appeared in feature films and on television, and have been exhibited at institutions such as the African American Museum in Philadelphia and the Please Touch Museum.
