Creativity and the healing and resilience it offers are at the center of the story.BackgroundAfter a family member’s suicide, Clair Oaks entered a process of deep grieving.From profound depths of sorrow and alienation to her current state of gratitude, connection, and joy, her journey is followed in a series of paintings she created in the seven years following the death of her ex-husband David (who was the father of her eldest son, Elijah).We will exhibit this body of work, along with a film chronicling what happened and Clair’s healing process.
