24 Heures du Simeone - The Heroes of Le Mans!

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum will pay tribute to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race with a special demonstration weekend celebrating "The Heroes of Le Mans," starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 14th, and concluding at NOON on Sunday, June 15th.

Visitors will experience a full day and night of historic driving demonstrations and Le Mans-themed programming, honoring the drivers, innovators, and visionaries who have shaped the rich history of this iconic endurance race. This immersive event offers fans a unique opportunity to witness extraordinary vehicles in action and gain insight into their legendary stories.

Throughout the event, demonstrations will continue into the night, replicating the extraordinary challenge of racing through the night at Le Mans. Attendees will be among the first to experience an exclusive preview of "Drivervision," a groundbreaking immersive motorsports adventure that promises to place fans closer to the action than ever before!

Adding to the excitement, the museum will also host a special unveiling of a remarkable new addition to its renowned collection, sure to thrill enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Other scheduled activities include interviews with celebrated figures from the world of motorsports, a live broadcast of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in its entirety in a dedicated viewing area with multiple large screen televisions, and a special memorial tribute to Dr. Frederick Simeone.

Visitors are encouraged to stay at the museum for the full 24-hour experience, with accommodations such as pillows, sleeping bags, and small pop-up tents permitted. Those who stay for the entire event and validate their attendance will receive a commemorative patch marking their achievement.

The event is open to the public from 9:00 AM Saturday, June 14th through 11:00 AM Sunday, June 15th, at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, located at 6825 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19153. . The museum will remain open as regularly scheduled until 4:00 PM on Sunday.

Admission for the entire weekend, including re-entry, is $24.00 plus electronic processing fees for adults and children age 12 and older. Entry is free for children under 12. Discounted tickets are available for Simeone Museum members and volunteers.

Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the event, subject to an additional charge.
