On October 21, 2025 we are celebrating the inaugural Unplug Texas Day. This statewide observance encourages everyone to log off their devices, get outside and rediscover the value of real-world connections.
Join us to Unplug and Play at Lake Pflugerville from 4 to 7 pm. Bring your picnic basket and something comfy to sit on. We’ll provide yard games, craft activities for kids, a scavenger hunt, complimentary kayaks and paddleboards, and sno-cones from Kona Ice.

Plug into Nature: Play in our parks, hike over 60 miles of trails, read outside or explore via scavenger hunt.
Plug into Play: Visit the Rec Center, join our Lake Pflugerville event or create your own outdoor fun.
Plug into Adventure: Experience a Star Party at 1849 Park, try kayaking or explore a new sport.
Plug into Pflugerville: Visit Pfarmers Market, tour Heritage House, check out public art or join a book club at the Library.
Pledge to unplug on October 21 and carve out time for connection, community and pfun.
