Calling all triathletes, endurance swimmers, teams and open water rookies! Join SBR Fun Events for our popular recurring practice sessions at Lake Pflugerville. This is the perfect, safe, and FUN environment to:
🏊 Practice Open Water Skills:
Get comfortable with time trial starts, sighting, swimming in a group, and wetsuit use. Open water swimming is no joke, and we help with figuring out the hard parts!
🦆 Swim Courses:
We have 2 swim courses (beginner/intermediate) supported by in-water mentors, guides, lifeguards, kayaks and marked with race buoys.
🚴 Seamless Transitions & Community:
Located near the North Pavilion, this is ideal for simulating your race-day transitions from swim to bike/run. Meet new training buddies.

What: Guided, non-competitive open water practice.
When: Monthly -2nd Saturday mornings, April - September 2026.
Time: 7:15 AM - 8:45 AM CST (Be ready to hit the water at 7:30!).
Where: Lake Pflugerville North Pavilion.
