A former mandolin player with the Liberty Bluegrass Band, Eric has also appeared at Hop Harvest & Vine with the Buckthorn Ramblers. His performances draw from a wide range of American roots traditions, blending bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz, swing, and Americana into a unique and engaging musical experience.

After one of Eric’s performances, an event organizer remarked, “We heard everything from bluegrass to Americana to Brubeck to Hendrix to Gershwin.” That wide-ranging repertoire reflects Eric’s deep musical curiosity and ability to bring diverse influences together in a cohesive and entertaining show.

Expect to hear traditional bluegrass ballads and fiddle tunes, along with original songs, jazz-influenced pieces, folk standards, blues, and swing. The music features a rich acoustic sound with guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and upright bass, including the energetic mandolin work of James Anders and the steady groove of Jay Wilson on upright bass.

Eric will also share original pop-folk songs performed with vocals and acoustic guitar—music inspired by wide open places and fertile spaces, bringing a thoughtful and personal touch to the evening.
