Class Overview
This beginner-friendly sewing class is perfect for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of sewing or trying a fun, creative weekend project. Whether you’re hoping to make your own clothing, create home décor, or explore a new hobby, this class will give you a strong foundation to get started.
All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Class Schedule
9:00–9:30 AM | Getting to Know Your Tools
* Overview of sewing machine parts and functions
* Introduction to basic sewing tools (scissors, measuring tape, pins, needles, thread, etc.)
* Hands-on practice threading the machine and sewing basic stitches
9:30–11:00 AM | Sewing Your First Project
* Step-by-step instruction for sewing soup bowl cozies
* Learning how to pin fabric, cut pieces, and sew seams
* Basic finishing techniques (trimming and pressing)
* Tips for common sewing issues (thread tension, skipped stitches, fabric bunching)
* Sharing completed projects
* Guidance on next steps for continuing your sewing journey

Sewing machines and materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own sewing machines for basic setup and overview.
