“Psychedelic Rock For The Modern Era”
-Medium
Straight out of Michigan’s rust and pine, we’re the bastard spawn of delta blues ghosts, UFO cults, and every amplifier that ever melted in a basement show. What we play isn’t retro, it isn’t revival; it’s a full-contact séance soaked in distortion and bad decisions.
Like something that crawled out of the swamp, then punched through the stratosphere. One minute you’re nodding to warm, warped nostalgia; the next the floor drops out and you’re free-falling through neon-soaked void. We honor the blues by setting it on fire. We worship rock n’ roll by dragging it behind the van at 90 mph.
The only rule is that there aren’t any.
This is Midwest psychedelia with teeth, sweat, and zero apologies.
---The Marsupials---
Led by Tai Jaxx Drury, The Marsupials defy categorization with a diverse blend of rock, indie, funk, ska, psychedelic, and progressive elements. They’ve been electrifying audiences and delivering raucous good times throughout the Midwest since their formation in 2014. The band's lineup is fluid but always stacked with lauded and veteran Michigan musicians, bringing fresh energy and expertise to every concert.
Known for their high-energy shows, they have become a mainstay in the Midwest music scene. From Michigan festivals to theaters and breweries, The Marsupials have relentlessly pushed their own sonic boundaries, landing on new styles of music with every album. Their unwavering dedication and unique sound have solidified them as one of Michigan's most exciting young bands.
---The Belle Tower of Petoskey, MI---
The Belle Tower, a historic church built in 1891, is being transformed into a mixed-use property in downtown Petoskey. This project combines the stability of workforce housing with the strong revenue potential of premium commercial lease space in one of Petoskey’s most desirable downtown corridors.
---Malted Vinyl---
Inspired by the Tokyo listening lounges of the 1950s & the 1970's family room experience, we set out to open a lounge for everyone who loves sitting back listening to music with a premium drink in their hand.
Malted Vinyl is the newest concept lounge in Petoskey allowing you to experience an audiophile music experience that feels like your cool uncle's living room where the music wraps you like a warm sonic banket and the drinks are as unique as the experience.
