away and sort of a long long time ago. Coming from different roads in the performance
world, Patt Shanks folds her decades of historical dance troupe background and
international experience into the rhythmic and percussive aspects of their wide ranging
and diverse musical catalog. While in the army, Bruce taught himself to play harmonica
and later happily fell into the guitar and mandolin worlds. Bruce’s interests started in the
folk and traditional tunes realm and over the years he has wandered widely into swing,
cowboy, bluegrass, jazz standards and also has penned many fine original songs. With
a repertoire that reaches as far back as French dance music from 1698, they love to
share their joy and musical energy through a unique selection of great music. They
believe music is a gift to enjoy, and to share. And, let’s not overlook their love of train
songs!
