A woodland wellbeing forest bathing session normally lasts for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Expect a mindful, slow paced stroll immersed in the natural environment. We will be moving at approximately 2-3 miles an hour.

The session will be led by Kate from Woodland Wellbeing, a Shirin-Yoku (forest bathing) practitioner. She will invite participants to join in activities developed to help engage all their senses in the Shinrin-Yoku experience there will also be the opportunity for quiet reflection. As the session draws to a close participants will pause for a restorative tea and to share their experiences of time spent together in nature.

Booking is essential.

                "description": "About –\n\nThe main facilities are open all year round and include a visitor centre with shop, café, theatre and activity area. There are two play areas, bbq sites, picnic areas and 20 miles of trail for walking, cycling and horse riding. Maps are available to purchase from the Visitor Centre shop.\n\nHampshires biggest Country Park with 2,000 acres of open access woodland and downland set within the South Downs National Park, including the Butser Hill National Nature Reserve.\n\nThings to do – \n\nBarbecues and Picnics\n\nThere are 11 family hearths in the forest which can be hired for set periods 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm and 5pm-7pm at £10 per session.
