Rumblefish

Our final show of the season--from the author of "The Outsiders".

"Rumblefish," directed by Mark Buckholz. This production runs July 31, August 1, 2, 7, 8 (rain makeup date August 9).

Auditions will be April 4th at 9 a m, 10am, and 11am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2300 E. Wilshire Rd. Springfield Il 62703. Audition sign-up begins March 9.

This stage version of S.E. Hinton's classic novel was immortalized on film by Francis Ford Coppola. It tells the story of two brothers, brought up in social deprivation by their alcoholic father, and the subsequent events that force both brothers to confront their desire to break out from their urban trap, eventually leading to death for one and a new beginning for the other.

Adapted by Marcus Romer from the novel by S. E. Hinton. Produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company, Woodstock, Illinois.
