Black Author Expo 2026
Join us for Black Author Expo 2026, featuring award-winning authors Carole Boston Weatherford and Jeffery Boston Weatherford, a mother and son duo whose work centers Black history, resilience, and imagination.

The Expo also includes 66 more Black authors, writers, and educators, offering readers the chance to discover new voices, engage in conversation, and support Black literature in recognition of Black History Month.

Recognized as Virginia’s largest free Black author event, this Expo brings together readers, families, educators, and the literary community for an afternoon of connection and celebration.
