An Evening with Lita Judge — Author of Old Blue Is My Home
Join us for an inspiring and heartwarming evening with award-winning author and illustrator Lita Judge as she shares her newest book, Old Blue Is My Home.
Date: November 19th, 6:00 pm
Location: Peterborough Town Library, Room 1833
Presented in partnership by MATS and the Peterborough Town Library, this special event celebrates the power of storytelling, resilience, and belonging.
Lita’s newest book draws from her own childhood experiences with housing and economic insecurity. Her story beautifully reflects the heart of the MATS mission — supporting individuals and families as they find stability, hope, and home.
This touching evening will include:
✅ A reading and discussion with Lita Judge
✅ A Q&A open to the community
✅ Cookies and cider for all to enjoy
✅ An uplifting message about compassion, dignity, and what truly makes a home
As we recognize Homelessness Awareness Month, we invite our community to come together — to listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with those facing housing insecurity right here in the Monadnock region.
💛 Admission is free. Everyone is welcome. Please share this event to help spread the word.
Let’s fill the room with warmth, hope, and community.
We can build a stronger, kinder future together — one story at a time.
