This is a great jewellery making workshop that teaches so many ring making skills enabling you to create 4 finished professional looking rings for your collection
You will make 4 beautiful ring designs from start to finish.
All materials are included in the cost of the class
During this workshop you will:
Bend and manipulate different gauges of wire
Learn how to use a ring mandrel to form and shape the ring
Use a rawhide or rubber mallet to manipulate the wire and shape
Use a chasing hammer to flatten and add texture
File to a smooth finish
Polish to a shiny professional finish
You will have your very own finished ring to take home.
The techniques covered in this course form a great foundation for developing more advanced wire jewellery skills but also equip you with everything you need to make beautiful rings from home.
A fun and versatile class not to be missed! No soldering or gluing is involved and you will learn to twist and manipulate wire to create stunning statement pieces.
No previous experience is necessary
Face-to-face workshops are great fun and informative. Being face-to-face unlike video tutorials means you can ask questions get help when you are stuck meet other likeminded people and enjoy the group workshop setting. I will be there to support you every step of the way and you will be able to see the process at different angles so you will be able to create your beautiful ring with ease.
The size of the class is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 9.
Please Make sure you arrive before the start time as this class is step by step and if you miss the beginning you will not be able to catch up!
