In Conversation with the Rev. Canon Maggie Helwig on her book Encampment

We are very pleased to host the Rev. Canon Maggie Helwig, incumbent of the Church of St Stephen-in-the-Fields, Toronto, for a conversation on her latest book, Encampment: Resistance, Grace, and an Unhoused Community, on Tuesday, November 18th, at 2:30 p.m. After sharing some of her experience with the encampment and its residents, there will be a question and answer time and refreshments. Anyone interested in the role of churches and followers of Jesus in ministering to unhoused and other vulnerable community members and advocating to civic leaders for a more just society should plan to attend!

Limited parking is available in the lots in front of and behind the church (entrances off Hunter St and Brock St) or behind the Peterborough County Courthouse at the top of Sheridan St.
