Good Shout: Poetry Open Mic ft Janine Booth

Already 6 months into the year...we'd better smash it then!

Good Shout is held at Here We Aren't, Godric Square every first Thursday of the month; pay what you feel, doors at 6.40pm, start at 7pm.

Are you a poet? Come and do some words.

Spoken Word and Poetry open mic, first come, first served. 2 poems per poet, priority is given to new performers and those who travel!

This month we are joined by the legendary Janine Booth!

Janine Booth is a disaffected middle-aged woman and Marxist motormouth, who grew up in Peterborough and still supports the Mighty Posh.

Janine is a ranting, rhyming and revolting poet, who tackles diverse subjects with wisdom and wit. She has been widely published in anthology and in several books of her own. Her poems are serious and light-hearted, free and formal, and guaranteed to entertain and provoke thought.
