The Giraffe Grief Club is a gentle, welcoming space for anyone navigating grief, loss or life changes.

It is not counselling.
You won’t be put on the spot.
There is no pressure to share.
You don’t have to know what to say.

You can talk, listen, reflect, or simply sit with a cuppa and be around people who understand that grief doesn’t come with a neat little rule book.

Why giraffes?

Because giraffes live in herds. They have big hearts, and their long necks help them see further ahead.

That feels rather fitting for grief.

Sometimes we just need to be with others while we slowly begin to see a way forward.

What to expect:

A warm welcome
A relaxed community café setting
A cuppa and gentle conversation
A safe, non-judgemental space
Guided discussion around grief, loss and life changes
Practical support and understanding
No fixing, no pressure, no grief top trumps

Your first meeting is free.
After that, it’s £3 per visit.

Everyone is welcome.

You don’t have to be “ready”.
You don’t have to have the right words.
Just come as you are.
