- **Event Description**: As a parent or caregiver, being prepared for a medical emergency is one of the most important things you can do. This one-hour, hands-on class is designed specifically to teach CPR and emergency response techniques for infants and children.

In this focused session, you’ll learn how to:

- Recognize signs of a medical emergency in babies and young children
- Perform child and infant CPR, including chest compressions and rescue breathing
- Respond effectively to choking incidents
- Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in pediatric emergencies

You'll practice these life-saving techniques on a child and infant mannequin and become familiar with real AED equipment. We’ll also leave time at the end for Q&A so you can get clarity on any concerns.

Cost for PMC Members:

$35 – Class only
$50 – Class + a 2-year American Heart Association certification and a take-home manual
