Walkern Wirin - Boorloo Blak Pride

Rainbow Futures WA, ECU, YPN & WAAC would like to invite you to Walkern Wirin (Rainbow Spirit) a Boorloo Blak Pride event happening this Pride Month!

Come along and join us in amplifying Blak joy, diversifying LGBTIQA+ spaces and building community this Pride! The event will start with some live performances (Singer/Songwriters, Drag Performance, Dance Performance) then we will go into a Blak Pride Quiz, finishing the night with some incredible First Nations DJ’s and getting down on the dancefloor.
Narelda Jacobs (Patron of RFWA) will be joining us and we’re all looking forward to a night of laughs and dancing in the lovely warm evening of Kambarang.

This event is open to all ages - people under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and will need to leave the venue at 10pm (Don’t worry you’ll still get to enjoy the quiz and DJs!) We strongly encourage you to bring along all your friends/family to celebrate this Pride and show the importance of intergenerational connection for First Nations communities.

We will have an Auslan Interpreter for all speaking portions of the event.
