Are you seeking a purposeful volunteer opportunity whilst improving your life and the community?

We facilitate experiential workshops in prisons across WA to empower people to transform violence into non-violence in their families and in their communities. The first step to becoming a part of AVP is a community workshop to assist participants in discovering new and creative ways of responding to conflict situations.

This Basic Workshop will run over two consecutive Saturdays: 22nd and 29th November 2025 from 9am to 5pm.

In a supportive and safe environment, participants explore strengths and skills within themselves that will enable them to deal with future conflict or potentially violent situations in a more constructive and pro-active manner.
