Toilets Around Perth Event

A free event in the Perth Civic Hall that needs YOU to attend. As an organisational charity (user-led) operating in and for the disabled community we need to highlight the need for more and better accessible public toilets in the Perth and Kinross area. Your support and attendance at this event can help be the push for change.

• We will have Giant Board Games
• World Café Discussions
• Information & Community Connections

• Guests arrive, register, and get oriented.
• Explore two giant board games set up around the venue.
• Tea, coffee, and light refreshments available.

• Introduction to the Toilets Around Perth initiative.
• Overview of Changing Places, accessibility goals, and community involvement.

Participants rotate between four themed tables.Each table has hosts, prompts, and space for conversation, notes, and ideas.

Choose one table to begin your journey:

Explore the importance of fully accessible toilets and how they support dignity and independence.

Discuss how disabled people and carers use reviews to find accessible places — and how local venues can get involved.

Conversations about personal assistance, independence, and different models of support.

Discuss community partnerships to ensure access to public toilets in local businesses.

Discuss the campaign and the toilet audits that CILPK have carried out. View the giant Perth map and suggest where toilets are missing.

Move to a new table and continue the conversation.

Third rotation; build on the ideas shared in earlier sessions.

Final rotation — ensuring everyone has had the chance to visit all topic tables.
