"What is it you thirst for?"
Welcome to The Wetness, where your wetness is welcome.
A silly, sensual & surreal offering to the slippery substance that makes up most of our bodies.
We come together under the light of the moon to summon The Wetness in this late night mass for seekers of the sublime who aren't afraid to get a little wet...
Together we sip at the chalice of the divine moisture, splash in the shallows, wade through inner tides, dissolving boundaries between self and surrounding bodies of wetness, and hold on tight to see how deep we can go.
For all we are - just stones and threads, passing Wetness back and forth to each other. As above, so below. What goes in, must come out...
Whether you want to sit back and bear witness or dive in with both fins, all are invited. Itβs time to seize the spray!
π₯ PLEASE NOTE:
This mass sits somewhere between performance art, clowning and participatory performance - only if you are comfortable in doing so. But do remember - the more you put in, the more will come out.

This February, The Wetness takes place on stolen land of the Whadjuk Noongar people, of which sovereignty has never been ceded. We hold this in our practice through the cycles of Wetness, past, present and future.
π₯ The Wetness was created by submersive artist Rose KB (Mummy's Plastic) and has travelled from a Sydney hotel room, to nightclub floors, transforming an office building (Summer Nights 2025), a gay sauna, a boat during Dark Mofo, and most recently at Fremantle Biennale.
