Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing.  The performances are from 6pm to 9pm at Perth Bowling and Recreation Club, 2 Plain Street, Perth.  For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Ilan Zagoria and the Parko and Sero Duet. Ilan Zagoria developed his driving and intricate Southern African guitar style growing up in Zimbabwe and he plays Southern African and Middle Eastern tunes. This year, Ilan Zagoria and Mark Cain launched a new recording, Dialogic, available on Bandcamp. Parko and Sero Duet features Pas Serafino on acoustic guitar and Chris Parkinson on harmonica who play jazz standards from the 30s and 40s, reworked classics from the 70s, and their own contemporary originals.
