🎭 The Lion in Winter by James Goldman is coming to the Studio Theatre stage from November 27 – December 7 directed by Chrystine Williams.

Synopsis:
It’s Christmas, 1183 and the claws are out. Join us for a sharp-witted historical drama that blends biting humor with royal intrigue.

As the aging King Henry II gathers his estranged family for the holidays, he’s not expecting peace and goodwill. Queen Eleanor (recently released from prison for the occasion), their three scheming sons, and a young, meddling King of France all descend upon the castle—each with their own agenda.

The result? A royal battlefield of ambition, betrayal, and twisted affection. With alliances shifting faster than the snow can settle, this power struggle is equal parts family feud and political chess match.
