Do your students love Seven Jumps and Highway No. 1? Is Shenanigans music a favourite in your program? This workshop is your chance to deepen your understanding of folk dance pedagogy with Shenanigans original member and co-founder, Audrey Klein.
Across an immersive 1.5 days, participants will learn engaging folk dances from the Shenanigans repertoire and explore how folk dancing can extend learning and consolidate key musical concepts. Discover how simple, well-structured dances engage students physically, socially, and musically.
Participants will leave with practical strategies to enrich classroom programs through active, inclusive music-making and dance, while celebrating the joyful Shenanigans repertoire.
