Get psyched for the second edition of Polyrhythmia, this time billed as “The Progening”! A night of progressive metal, blending complex rhythms and grooves with immersive melodies, featuring two instrumental bands and two symphonic/cinematic bands. This special end of year edition will celebrate new music and releases including headliners Imperatore releasing their much-anticipated third full length album “The Lionspirit”!
Headliners IMPERATORE is the symphonic rock and metal project created by operatic tenor and guitarist Zoran Cunjack, merging classical power with cinematic intensity. Rooted in the grandeur of imperial virtue and the discipline of operatic art, Imperatore delivers a sound both majestic and defiant — an anthem for strength, purpose, and transcendence. After a commanding self-titled debut in 2023 and the second album Nations, Rise in 2024, Imperatore now prepares to unveil its third album, The Lionspirit, in December 2025, continuing its rise as a fusion of operatic majesty, modern metal fire, and the eternal pursuit of Honor and light.
Outcome Variables is an instrumental progressive metal band from Perth, Western Australia. Blending metal, progressive rock, and classical influences with rhythmic grooves, the band has crafted a distinct sound. Their discography includes the EPs Verge of Redline (2018) and Grounded in Transience (2020), with their latest singles, Modus Operandi and Paradise Avenue released in 2024. For this gig, they will be celebrating their new single release, their first collaborative track featuring input from each member amongst other surprises.
Lotus is an instrumental 3 piece, heavily influenced by the drop C fuzzed stoner sounds of the desert. Lotus brings together members of Electric State and Modern Mantra, forging a new collective sound with a firm focus and intent of putting everything into EVERY live performance.
Their debut single "Transmission", since its release in late 2023, has become a firm fan favourite and a must see live.
Since their inception, Lotus has been involved in many amazing shows and lineups at venues around Perth, including Milk Bar, Convenients, Old Habits, The Bird, Lynott's Lounge and the Indi Bar.
Ammify are a CineMetal outfit, with a sound that melds heavy times with cinematic elements in their vocals and instrumentation. A big stage sound with a uniquely dark melodic thread that runs through their music. Fronted by Ammy Phoenix, the voice of Ammify, brings all the band's sonic sourcery into focus with her immense vocals and commanding stage presence. They will be releasing a new single at this gig!
