Open Night at the Cathedral

Get into the festive spirit with our free late night opening!

Explore the inside of the Cathedral while enjoying joy-filled music from community groups and fun offerings and activities for the kids. Outside the building is a chance to take in the projections of the City of Perth’s Christmas Lights Trail while cooling down with a cold drink and icy poles from Holy Grounds - our social enterprise café.

There is also the opportunity to light a candle to remember a loved one and offer a prayer, in the midst of a season that can need balancing both happy and difficult memories and moments.

Come along to experience the Cathedral in a different way, and receive a warm Christmas welcome in the heart of the city, while keeping a look out for a very special guest!
