I’ve been asked by a couple of students if I would run another oil painting group, so I’ve added a new date for July.

For this workshop we’ll be painting a beautiful Scottish beach scene in oils, with turquoise water, warm sand, grassy dunes, rocks in the foreground and a dramatic sky.

We’ll work through the painting step by step, looking at how to build up the scene, mix natural coastal colours, simplify rocks and water, and create a sense of light and distance.

This is suitable for those who have painted in oils before, as well as anyone who would like a supported introduction.

Saturday 18 July
10am–4pm
River Edge Lodges, Bridge of Earn
£85 – materials included

The studio will be open from 9:30am for a relaxed start and a coffee before we begin. Please bring lunch with you — tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
