Drawing from her Christian faith and life experiences, Mariah weaves together influences from gospel, jazz, pop, world music, folk, and country to create songs that are heartfelt, uplifting, and deeply personal. Growing up in a musical family, Mariah developed a passion for music from an early age and graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2015 as a jazz vocalist. Since beginning her original music journey in 2021, she has continued to release powerful and engaging songs, including Lennon Award-winning "My One and Only One Jesus" (2021) and WAM Song of the Year-nominated "Ain’t Nothing Like a Cloud" (2023). Mariah has shared her music across Perth’s live music scene, performing at venues including Lyrics Underground and the Ellington Jazz Club.
