With a vast array of music to dance to both in it's authentic and modern fusion forms, Kizomba is definitely not your parents dance. Kizomba is a Passada (walking) dance, originally hailing from Angola and the Portuguese speaking (Palop) African countries. Partners dance connected at the chest to a driving beat and complex rhythms. One of the easiest partnered social dances to pick up initially, it is also one of the most complex and intricate styles to dance. πŸ†πŸ₯‡ Our Curriculum πŸ…πŸŽ– Our curriculum is designed specifically to establish the method and training required for you to become the best dancer possible πŸ₯‡ Beginners Level One Foundation 7:30pm Our Foundation class is designed to take you from complete beginner to a social dancer with the tools to dance Kizomba with anyone in the world. Foundation terms start with a comprehensive understanding and application of the fundamental movements of Kizomba. The methods, explanations and examples vary with each term, to give new insights into fundamentals, allowing the dancer to build and improve their leading and following πŸŽ–Improvers Level Two 6:30pm Our Improvers Level class is designed for the Kizomba dancer with a good grasp of the basic fundamentals (i.e. Bases 1,2&3, Touch, Hesitation, Balanca, and the timings of Tempo, Suave, Lento and basic Contratempo).
