We are proud to deliver this very special educational conference day “Celebrating WA Excellence and Global Perspectives: A Gathering of Renowned Epilepsy Expert Speakers.” on November 7 for people living with epilepsy and their loved ones.

This years’ event features the most impressive line-up of speakers yet, and will be MC’d, once again, by Karl Langdon, one of Western Australia's leading Sports Commentators and Radio Personalities. He was one Western Australia's highest profile AFL players.

This special day will also include priceless insights and story sharing from West Australian Epilepsy Warriors and their loved-ones to ensure that their unique insights into navigating life with an epilepsy diagnosis are shared.

The line up of highly regarded neurologists, epileptologists and neurology professors who will be speaking on the day include Dr Athanasios Gaitatzis, Professor Lakshmi Nagarajan, Professor Tony Marson, Professor Elaine Wirrell and Professor David Henshall.

The full exciting lineup of topics covered includes VNS, Epilepsy, Pregnancy and Breastfeeding, First Seizures, Action Plans, Genetic Therapies and Action Plans/ Seizure Management. 

Tickets are free for members of Epilepsy WA or $50 per ticket to non-members. This event is expected to be a “sell-out” so we encourage early registration.
