About this Event

The WA Made Film Festival’s Documentary Showcase brings together a rich mix of Western Australian stories, told from many angles and lived experiences. From migrant architecture shaping the streets of Vincent to the fight to save an all-ages music venue, these films capture culture, memory and change. Meet artists transforming scrap into myth, Elders sharing deep cultural knowledge, refugees rebuilding their lives, and locals preserving history in unexpected ways. From sacred traditions to quirky roadside icons, lost venues to bold personal journeys, this showcase celebrates the diversity, resilience and creativity that define documentary filmmaking in WA.
