Tofu is one of the most affordable, nutritious and versatile vegan staples, but it’s often misunderstood. In this interactive cooking demo, I’ll show how to cook tofu three different ways using firm, semi-firm and silken tofu. We’ll explore simple techniques, flavour pairings and practical tips to help home cooks feel confident using tofu for family-friendly meals.

About Jack
Jack Rock is a father, content creator, and long-term vegan who has been raising vegan kids in Australia since 2017. His family’s journey began after their youngest son’s severe eczema completely resolved when dairy was removed from their diet — a turning point that led his family to adopt a vegan lifestyle for health, animal welfare, and environmental reasons. Jack is the author of How to Raise Vegan Kids and shares practical, real-world advice through blogs, videos, and social media, helping families navigate nutrition, school, sport, social situations, and raising confident vegan kids without fear or feeling overwhelmed. Known for his honest, down-to-earth approach, Jack focuses on making vegan parenting feel achievable, balanced, and empowering for everyday families.
