- **Event Description**: There is still time to enter your decorated cake into the Cakefest competition. Unleash your creativity. Get together as a group, enter as friends, or on our own. A subsidy of £20 is available for nurseries, community groups etc. to enter this competition.

There are 2 categories:
Traditional Christmas Cake - Classics like fruit cake or Victoria sponge. “Traditional” can mean so many things! Whether it’s a French bûche de Noël, a German stollen, or a family recipe, or a traditional decoration passed down through generations, all cakes are welcome!
Freestyle Cake - Be creative. Think Santa, snowmen, Christmas trees, gingerbread house or even one of our lovely landmarks or areas.

Winners in each category will win a £100 Perth City and Towns Gift Card. Second and third places each receive a £50 Gift Card.

To take advantage of the subsidy, request a subsidy claim form from natashanorbury@hotmail.co.uk. Kindly title your email SUBSIDY CAKEFEST25.

All cakes will be on display from 12:00 - 4pm at the Council Buildings , 2 High Steet, Perth  as part of the Chirstmas Lights Switch on weekend.
