It has come to this Author’s attention that a most delicious secret is about to be revealed — one that promises to eclipse all other diversions and take its rightful place as the event of the Season. Vendor Applications are now open.
Indeed, the whispers are true. Bridgerton Day is soon to arrive, coinciding most delightfully with the blossoming of Spring in the Swan Valley and the grand Open Day at Mulberry Estate. One should expect nothing less than the finest assembly of society, with all the trappings of refinement, indulgence, and, dare I say… scandal.
For those determined to immerse themselves entirely in the Bridgerton experience, there shall be not one, but three formal High Tea sittings in The Grand Pavilion, or upon the Burgundy Terrace, with a courtesy carriage from Midland to ensure one’s arrival in style.
Take heed, however: one need not partake in High Tea to enjoy this most magnificent day. Guests of distinguished taste will be able to secure a Day Pass, granting them exclusive access to the entire Estate’s splendid offerings - Visitors are equally welcome to wander the markets, sip a refreshing drink, and savor a meal in the serene surrounds of Riverview Gardens.
Picture, if you will, the scene: tables dressed in elegance, guests delighting in delicate treats, while the Estate itself brims with merriment. Roaming vaudeville performers, acrobats, musicians, and comics will dazzle the senses, whilst on the manicured lawns, games of croquet and garden tennis await the most spirited among us.
And should one’s appetite for finery extend further, a stroll along Market Lane will reveal Perth’s grandest collection of high-quality market stalls, their wares certain to tempt even the most discerning shopper.
A professional photographer will be present to capture the day’s splendor, right on the banks of the Swan River, along with a scattering of enchanting surprises that will ensure guests remain captivated from dawn until dusk.
This Author dares say that to miss such an occasion would be the gravest of social missteps. One must be in attendance.
