However, starting in 2026 Blame The Dog is shattering the Perth scene with an explosive new live set. They are stepping away from the light indie rock sound in favour of a high energy, dark and emotional nugrunge/alt metal sound inspired by bands such as Deftones, Design19 and Chevelle with a Y2K inspired aesthetic.

Trailing off their first release, a debut 12 song album last year, Blame The Dog is following it up with a brand new EP whilst putting on frequent live shows showcasing their music along with some of Perth's finest acts. Bring your best Y2K fits, get a Blame The Dog tee and feel your bones shake as we play our first show of 2026 on April 25th at Lynnott's Lounge!
