I’m excited to announce the opening of a brand new monthly meetup for artists in Perth, hosted by myself and themed around ‘business for artists’ - for those looking to make a living from their artwork or art services. Or at least wanting to find out more.

Following on from the very successful ‘Perth Arts Meetup’ group that I ran some years ago, this will be every 3rd Saturday of the month (apart from a couple of tweaks), 9.30am till 12.00pm.

Who is this for? Any type of artist or creative - painters, potters, sculptors, photographers, jewellery makers, weavers, textiles, writers, art therapists, art coaches, teachers, workshop providers, gallery owners etc etc..

If you are creative and you’d love to learn more about making money from your craft, all whilst mixing and meeting other artists, then this is an event you want to pop in your diary now.

The venues will vary every few months, so we can explore different places.

We’ll start off at Art & Craft World in Morley, thanks to Judith who runs till fab art materials store.

Each month there will be a short talk on an art business related topic, plus a Q&A slot and of course loads of opportunity to mingle, network, meet new artists, form new connections and generally have an inspiring wonderful time!
