5 POINT PITCH TOURNAMENT

1:30 pm Sign-In – 2:00 pm Start
RULES
• Entry is $20/person ($40/team).
• 6 handed game.
• Dealer is forced to bid 2.
• Dealer can take automatic set if forced.
• No moon hands.
• There will be two rounds of 3 games per round.
• Table assignments will be reset for the second round based on standings from the first round.
• Games are played to 15, but play out hand and record all points for tiebreaker purposes.
• Bidder goes out.
• Table stakes are $2 per game and $1 per set.
• Tournament scoring is as follows:
o 5 points to winner of each game
o 3 points for 2nd place
o 1 point for 3rd place
o 2 bonus points in each set for winning at least 2 of the 3 games
• Team with most points wins the tournament
• Tiebreakers are as follows:
o Most points scored in all games.
o Least total sets for all games.
• Will pay out 50% of entry $$.
• Will pay out the top 3 places.
• Bring your own beverages.
• Free will donation for soups and slider sandwiches (Suggested minimum $3 per
bowl of soup or slider or $5 per combo of both.). Please let us know if you would like to donate a pot of soup/chili/crackers or slider sandwiches. Food will be ready at 12:00 pm.
• Total number of teams must be divisible by 3. Please sign up early to ensure you get in.
• Proceeds are to support Polly’s World Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
